Director & Lead Teacher

Dorothea Frazier was educated in the Hampton Public School system. Upon graduation from high school, she was accepted and graduated from Norfolk State University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Care and Family Studies. Her thirst for knowledge led her to receive a Master of Education from National-Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction
 

In 1985, Dorothea relocated to Washington, DC.  She worked one year at the Assumption Catholic School in the southeast quadrant of the city. Dorothea worked for the District of Columbia Public School (DCPS) system for 10 years. Consistently reaching for her goals, she began working for Prince Georgia County Public School (PGCPS) system. Her public school service in PG County consists of her holding several positions, in addition to teaching her class. Just to name a few, Dorothea was chairperson for her teaching team, the social committee. And she also contributed her time working with the school improvement committee.

In June 2019, after 35 years of public school service, she retired from Prince Georges County Public School system. Upon retiring, she decided to follow her dream of more than 20 years, and become the proud Owner/CEO of The Ultimate Development Learning Center, LLC.  The Ultimate Development Learning Center is a place where children are provided a safe, clean, healthy and loving environment. Dorothea believes that children are a unique and valuable treasure in our society. Her vision is that each child is accepted as a very special individual.

Dorothea’s mission statement for The Ultimate Development and Learning Center, LLC (UDLC) is to strive to provide children with many enriching opportunities, with core focus and development in the areas of social, educational, physical and emotional enrichment. In partnership with the children’s parents, this multifaceted approach is a continuation of a unique network that continues outside of her care. She strives to provide the families that she services with the highest quality of years of experience; maintaining all of the standards, which provide the framework for her to implement a higher quality learning center.

Dorothea Frazier has been happily married to Bro. Robert Frazier, Jr. for 25 years, and they are the proud parents of two loving daughters, Lucritia, and Chrissy; and a son, Christopher.  They are also the beaming and adoring grandparents of three wonderful grandchildren, Zauria, Zhoe, and Julez.
